Ap­ply for a Cer­ti­fi­cate of Ma­ri­tal Sta­tus

If you wish to enter into an international marriage, you will need a Certificate of Marital Status. This certificate documents that you meet the requirements outlined in the Danish Marriage Act. You can apply for a Certificate of Marital Status on this page.

Please be aware that you must pay a fee of DKK 2,100 before we can process your application. If you meet the conditions for marriage and the documentation requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Marital Status.
